About the photograph

While exploring the island Lanzarote during a recent holiday, we decided to check out Famara Beach, reputed to be one of the island's most beautiful and unspoiled beaches and certainly one of the largest on the island at 6 kms long. Located on the northwest of the island it isn't hard to see why it is considered a mecca for surfers as the waves are constant thanks to the prevailing Atlantic winds.
As I looked out to sea from the beach, I noticed that there were constant lines of white across the scene as the waves came ashore. It was a strange optical illusion as the white lines appeared to stay still even as the waves continued their journey to the shore and provided a lovely contrast against the blues of the sea and sky. 
I decided to use intentional camera movement (icm) to capture the essence of the scene and highlight the colour contrast rather than the details of the waves. 

About my prints and frames

All my fine art prints are printed using acid-free fine art photographic paper and use the finest quality pigment inks to ensure an archival quality print rated to last at least 80 years.

Frames are made using FSC®-certified acid free natural wood that match the archival properties of the print and come complete with high quality glass windows.

Size

Prints are offered in the following sizes

A4 - 8.3 x 11.7 inches / 21 x 30cm

A3 - 11.7 x 16.5 inches / 30 x 42cm

A2 - 16.5 x 23.4 inches / 42 x 59cm

A1 - 23.4 x 33.1 inches / 59 x 84cm

Size refers to the overall size of the print including the border.

For framed prints the size is increased by an additional 2.54 cm (1 inch) on both width and height.

Care

Care is always recommend when handling a fine art print as the photographic paper can be sensitive to touch.

Shipping

If your fine art print has a defect or other issue, I am happy to either resend the print or refund the cost of your order.
